Welcome to Cecily Plum!

Being pregnant or a new mum is often a magical time, but for some of us it can also be uncomfortable and tiring. It may even feel like it will go on like that for ever! Now, we can't make your pregnancy shorter, and we can't make baby's colic go away (I feel tired just writing that word) but we can help to make it more comfortable and stylish for you every day!

CP's collection comes from discussions amongst a core of us mummies chatting about the usual things that we mummies like to talk about. When it came to clothes, we all agreed that someone should find better quality, better looking stuff for real pregnant and new mums to wear, and then they should sell them on the internet, so people like us could buy them (we're hours from the nearest big town here). I decided to be that mum!

In talking further to friends and relatives, I also realised the difficulty in finding really lovely gifts for mums, and so we've put together a treasury of things any mum would love to receive. As a result, our collection is more than just clothes; it's a rich boutique full of a range of items that we think pregnant and new mums will enjoy.

Words! Lots of words about this site! Some spelt right, some spelt creatively - just like when people look for things on the internet, like pregnant, pegnant, pregnent mum clothes and gifts! We think we have the Best Pregnancy, Best maternity, Best mum maternity wear (maternitywear) and treats; see what you think. You might be pregnant, have a bun in the oven, be with child, or up the duff! In that case you'll probably *need* the Best New mum (or mom or mam), best motherhood, best soft comforting presents you can find; basically, the best clothes and gifts. You may also be looking for the Best Beautiful bags and skincare (or skin care) and accessories too. And why not? You need to look after youself! But we also have things for a new mam, and things for a new mom, as well as things for a pregnant mom and a pregnant mam! It's fun to see all the different ways people search for lovely things. Some people look for "Best Gorgeous Clothes" and "gifts for party time", and "special occasions". We've got a beautiful party dress, and 6-way dress that can be worn in six different ways all the way from a party dress to a day-to-day skirt. Sometimes people type gits when they want special gifts, or gifs. Gifts for pregnant friend, and gifts for pregnant people, even pregnant gifts (are they going to have little baby gifts?). Maternity knitwear - big and small knit, chunky and smooth and soft. Gifts (or gifst) for mum / mam / mom.
