The Birthing Wrap by Womama has been very popular, particularly in Rasberry, so much so that we’re out of stock of most sizes until a new shipment hits our shores during February.  You can pre-order a rasberry right now, or the black birthing wrap is still available for a little while (this stock is low too).

A few months ago we took delivery of the new Womama Birthing Wrap. The birthing wrap has been very successful in its native New Zealand due to its unique design and its versatility.

Primarily designed for wearing during birth, the Womama wrap is made from a soft light cotton and is designed to help you feel comfortable and feminine on your special day. The wrap design means it can fit a snug or loose as you find comfortable, it’s easy to move about in and be monitored in. The deep V-neck also allows for baby to have lots of skin to skin contact, and makes that early breastfeeding easy.

The birthing wrap is designed so that it can be worn in five different ways, making it more than just birthwear:

1. As maternity nightwear.
2. As a maternity dress or tunic over jeans or leggings.
3. During labour and birth.
4. After the birth as a nightdress.
5. As a dress or tunic after the birth.

The HotMilk 2010 range of maternity and breastfeeding nightwear is due into our warehouse very soon now.  HotMilk’s 2009 collection were best sellers and so we’re looking forward to seeing the new collection for real.  In the meantime, the pyjama trousers, pyjama shorts, breastfeeding top and breastfeeding camisole are all available to order right now, and will be delivered in time for Christmas (in the UK).

The whole collection is suitable as both maternity nightwear and breastfeeding nightwear.
